The company operates in several interrelated areas: scrap metal collection, end-of-life vehicle management, spare parts sales and administrative procedures relating to vehicle removal. The aim of the project was to ensure that these services were finally presented online in a clear, transparent and commercially viable format. It was particularly important that prospective customers searching in the local area could find the company quickly and get in touch with it easily.
The main consideration in designing the website was to ensure that visitors could access the information relevant to them and get in touch as quickly as possible. The structure was therefore designed to clearly distinguish the main services, ensure that contact details are easy to find, and make it clear when it is worth phoning or requesting a quote. In addition, it was considered important that the website performs well in local search results and supports the business’s online visibility.
The biggest challenge was that the business caters to several different target groups at the same time. The information required differs for someone looking for second-hand parts, someone wishing to scrap a car, and yet another person seeking a site or partner for the disposal of scrap metal. The website therefore had to not only showcase the company, but also facilitate quick decision-making. It was also important that prospective customers could immediately see where the company is based, what it does, and how they can get in touch straight away.
During the project, a website structure was developed that places particular emphasis on the key business objectives: spare parts sales, end-of-life vehicle collection, scrap metal purchasing and requests for quotations. Particular emphasis was placed on quick contact points, features encouraging telephone enquiries, and quote request options where enquiries can even be submitted with a photo. In addition, the site is designed to ensure that the site is easy to find and that visitors coming to deal with matters in person can find their way around easily.
The end result is a business-focused website that not only showcases the company but also actively helps to increase the number of enquiries received. The site helps make the company easier to find in the local area, communicates its services more clearly, and provides a quicker route to telephone enquiries, requests for quotes and personal enquiries. As the business aims to expand in several directions in the future, the website provides a stable foundation upon which further services and new business ventures can be built.
