The project was set up to modernise the online presence of a private gynaecology practice. The main aim was to replace the previous, manually managed appointment system with a simpler, more modern and easier-to-use system. To this end, a dedicated landing page was created, with online appointment booking as its central feature.
During the design process, simplicity and ease of use were the main priorities. The result is not an overloaded website, but a clean, uncluttered interface where visitors can quickly grasp the essentials and easily book an appointment. A key consideration in developing the system was to ensure that both booking and subsequent amendments run smoothly, whilst incurring no additional monthly costs for the practice. As part of the project, a Google Business Profile was also created, which helped the practice to establish a stronger local presence.
The greatest difficulty in the running of the practice was the manual management of appointments. Appointments and details were recorded by hand, which involved a great deal of extra administrative work and placed a significant burden on the assistant. Furthermore, it was a challenge that it was more difficult for patients to book appointments, whilst there was a genuine need for a system that operated more quickly and transparently. The aim, therefore, was not only to create a new online platform, but also to develop a solution that would make day-to-day operations genuinely easier.
As part of the project, a dedicated landing page was created, featuring an online booking system. Thanks to this, bookings can be recorded automatically, and changes can be made with just a few clicks. This has significantly reduced manual administration and simplified the organisation of appointments. The project also included the creation of a Google Business Profile, which boosted local online visibility and helped the practice stand out more competitively amongst local service providers without incurring any advertising costs.
The end result was an easy-to-use, streamlined online interface that made it simpler for patients to book appointments and significantly reduced the administrative burden on the practice. Thanks to the online system, more patients were able to attend appointments, including those who had previously been trying to book an appointment for some time. The results were clearly visible right from the start: within three months of the website going live, all available slots were fully booked. In addition, the practice’s local online presence has been strengthened, without any additional advertising costs.
